The Star Inn is a Grade II listed, mellow stone Cotswold Inn that was first recorded as a public house in 1782. This charming public house and adjoining cottage still retains much of its original character with stone mullion windows, stripped wood floors, exposed stone walls and wood burning stove. It has previously been modernised by the Freeholder, and this has been continually improved upon by the tenants who have recently developed the excellent trade garden. It is presented in good condition and perfect for the new tenants to drive the business forward.

The village of Whitehill sits to the north of the busy town of Stroud, within the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is a popular residential location due to the outstanding countryside and its close proximity to a number of commercial towns and cities. It also has excellent road communication links being approximately 2.5 miles from Stroud town centre, 6 from the M5 motorway, 8 Gloucester city centre, 14 Cheltenham town centre, 24 the M4/M5 intersection and 30 Bristol city centre.
