The Sellers View...
We moved to Cox Green Road in 1992 just a week after the twins were born. We decided to move from Slough as we needed more bedrooms and with access to good local schools we felt Cox Green had a lot to offer. We have spent many years making this house our home modernising it throughout with double glazing and a few new kitchens, the last being completed in 2019.
There are a good mix of neighbours some whom have lived here longer than us.
One of the main things we've enjoyed about the area is the amenities offered, from the nearby Okwells park with its children’s play area and café to several shops and hostelries all within walking distance.
With Windsor, Marlow, Bourne End and Cookham a short drive away, you're spoilt for choice for restaurants and pleasant days out.
Cox Green Road is only 3 minutes from Junction 8/9 on the M4 and around 20 minutes from the M40. Maidenhead train station is a 20-minute walk or 8 minutes on the number 7 bus which stops just two houses away. I spent many years commuting to London and a couple of years commuting to Paris via Heathrow which is only a 15-minute drive away.
Car parking is never an issue as all homes have multiple car spaces in their own drives. There is room on our drive for three or four cars.
As our children have taken up their own homes, we feel it is time to down-size and offer our house to a new family to make their own.
