The flat itself felt just right from the beginning. It is a modern well-built space that gave us everything we needed. The insulation and energy efficiency made it feel warm and peaceful in the colder months while staying cool through summer. The layout suited us perfectly. Two spacious bedrooms allowed for both rest and productivity. The Juliet balcony always brought in a fresh airy feeling to the mornings. It felt like a calm escape from the rush of London life.
We have spent so many lovely days here. The communal garden gave us a peaceful spot to enjoy the outdoors without leaving home. The rooftop terrace became our hidden gem. It was somewhere we could look out over the city and just breathe. The bike shed kept everything practical and organised. Having everything we needed within walking distance meant we rarely had to rely on a car.
Life here was made even better by how well connected everything is. We could get to London Bridge in just 14 minutes or reach London Victoria in 16. Gatwick was only a short train ride away. The trams and Night Tube gave us freedom at any hour. It truly felt like having the best of both worlds. Easy access to central London with the comfort of a real community right on our doorstep.
We loved being able to pop out for groceries visit the gym or explore cafés and shops without needing to plan or drive. Lidl the local gym and so many independent stores were all within a few minutes’ walk. Even ikea was just a tram ride away which came in handy more times than I can count.
This flat has been more than just a place to live. It has been our home our quiet space in the city and a base for so many wonderful memories. Now that it is time to move on I know someone else will step into this space and feel exactly what we felt. That sense of belonging ease and comfort that makes a house truly feel like home."
