***Vendor's comments*** "When we moved into Davidson Road, we decorated our house in neutral colours throughout, with brass gold light fixtures. We renovated the bathroom, knocking the wall down into the third bedroom to make a big family bathroom to fit in a bathtub and shower. We added a pop of colour with the forest green tiles and brass gold bathroom fixtures. The bathroom also has the added benefit of electric underfloor heating.
We then renovated the kitchen and designed it so it’s sleek and modern, with integrated appliances, keeping the same colour scheme as the bathroom with the forest green cabinets. There is plenty of storage, as we also added a larder, and finished with a lovely quartz worktop. The kitchen is light and spacious and, as a keen cook, is my favourite part of the house! We also love our long and well-kept garden, with all the different types of flowers that bloom each summer.
The house is situated in a great location on the 410 bus route, which is just a short bus ride to East Croydon or Norwood Junction station, and also only a 15-minute train journey to Gatwick Airport.
We’ve absolutely loved living in our first home for the past three years. It’s been the perfect place for us as a young working couple, with a quick and easy commute into London and everything we’ve needed right on our doorstep. It’s where we built our life together, made so many happy memories and, more recently, welcomed our baby. That’s why it’s bittersweet to be selling — we’re sad to say goodbye to the home that’s meant so much to us, but we’re moving to be closer to family as we start this next chapter.
