Homeowner experience:
"We have had a great experience living in this flat. We were one of the first to move into the building in early 2022 and the flat itself is perfect for what we needed. We love the modern look and clean feel, the floor to ceiling windows and the open plan kitchen/living room which has been ideal for entertaining.
The wider building has also been really convenient, with plenty of communal spaces to utilise including the lobby/study area with desks and sofas where you can work from home, the handy post room, and the secure bike storage downstairs. Upstairs there is also a large communal roof terrace on the 9th floor with seating areas and an adjoining wellness room where we have practiced yoga. There are also two additional communal roof terraces on the 20th and 21st floors which have amazing views across London. We have even enjoyed the London New Years Fireworks from there!
As well as the abundance of facilities, we have really enjoyed the big community we have been a part of in this building. There is an active and helpful group chat which you can join as soon as you move in, and ask any questions and residents can help each other out, buy/sell/give away items, discuss queries and also organise and attend fun social events such as regular coffee mornings downstairs by the sofas.
The location of our flat is another huge bonus which we have found priceless. We are just across the road from East Croydon Rail Station which has great transport links to central London and the South, with fast trains to London Bridge, London Victoria, Gatwick, and Brighton. Being right beside the station has other perks such as being a lively area with Boxpark and other fantastic restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as Surrey Street fruit market and the town centre within easy walking distance. There is also Park Hill Park just a few minutes down the road which we visit every week, and the larger Lloyds park also nearby.
Overall, we have had an unforgettable time here and are sad to leave so soon, but we are now expecting a baby, so simply require more space for our growing family. The flat was perfect for us as a couple and we wish the future owners all the happiness in this lovely flat!"
