The house was bought in 2018. The location was the key factor in the choice. With being on a no through road, there is limited traffic. Parking is generally easy, even with 2 cars and only 1 allocated space. Access to the M4 and A33 is trouble-free. In fact, access to anywhere is easy.
Plenty of green space around the estate allows for walking and/or cycling off the main road.
To the back of the house is the local garage, which has rear access from the estate. When you're desperate, it saves jumping in the car for a bottle of milk. A real godsend. Nice pub just over the road, too.
A standard 2 bed terrace that has had a much needed breakfast bar installed, anyone with kids will know. Ikea fitted wardrobes with drawers and space above for spares allows everything to be neatly stored. Extra storage in the boarded loft also.
Will be sad to leave but, time to move on.

Tucked away overlooking green space, this end-of-terrace two bed is a great starter home that offers space, privacy, and a brilliant layout; ideal if you're looking for something ready to move straight into.
Set well back from passing traffic, it’s in a lovely secluded spot and has side access and allocated parking. The garden has been fully landscaped for low maintenance and is perfect for entertaining! Being on the end also means you benefit from an extra generous garden – one of the biggest we’ve seen for a home this size – and with no properties backing on to you, it feels really private and peaceful. It’s been fully landscaped for low maintenance and is perfect for entertaining.
Inside, the layout is spot on. There’s a welcoming hallway with a downstairs WC, then you walk through to a bright, open-plan living space. The kitchen sits neatly at the front and, credit to the sellers, they’ve added a stylish breakfast bar for extra storage and seating. The living/dining area runs across the back, with french doors opening straight onto the garden which has been fully landscaped for low maintenance and is perfect for entertaining!
Upstairs, you’ll find two really spacious double bedrooms, both with fitted storage, and a modern family bathroom in the middle.
Homes in spots like this don’t come up often and the other two sold very quickly so give us a shout if you'd like to take a look!

Three Mile Cross is a well-connected village located just three miles south of Reading, nestled along the historic Basingstoke Road. With its semi-rural setting and strong sense of community, it’s a great spot for anyone looking for a quieter pace without losing easy access to the city. Commuters will love being just minutes from Junction 11 of the M4, plus you’ve got the Mereoak Park & Ride and the new Green Park train station nearby for a smooth journey into Reading or London.
Local highlights include a handy Budgens store and the popular Swan Pub both within walking distance via a little cut through close to the home. For even more choice, Shinfield and Lower Earley are just up the road with plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs. And when it comes to retail therapy, you’ve got the best of both worlds with Wokingham’s market town charm or the buzz of Reading’s Oracle just a short drive away.
