About this property

  • Desirable Cul de sac

  • Great Village Location

  • Corner Plot

  • No Onward Chain

  • Large Garden

A fine and deceptively spacious 2 bedroom mid terrace property, which lies in a select development for the over 55s and occupies a corner plot and the benefit of a very good size garden to the rear.

The property, which has a garage and a parking space, is offered for sale with no onward chain and an early viewing is advised.

The Dwelling

A super mid-terrace bungalow for the over 55s offered for sale with no onward chain and benefitting from UPVC double glazing, coved ceilings, night storage heating and lying in a cul-de-sac location.

Accommodation

A UPVC double-glazed entrance door leads to the porch with a timber effect floor, whilst a glazed door with a side screen leads to the reception hall, having an airing cupboard and a hatch to the roof space.

The sitting room is a very good size, having UPVC double-glazed patio doors to the rear.

The kitchen is comprehensively fitted with units with black marble effect worktops and timber effect doors with stainless steel door furniture. There are a number of base units and wall cupboards, and please note all white goods, including an automatic washing machine, oven and refrigerator are included in the sale price.

There are two good size bedrooms and a fully tiled shower room with a white suite.

Outside

To the front of the property, there is a lawned garden and path, whilst to the rear, the garden is an absolute feature, being laid to lawns, patio, shed, tap, flower beds, pathway and enclosed by hedging and lap panel fencing.

There is parking for one vehicle and a garage in a block with an up and over door.

Situation

Queen Camel is a village on the banks of the river Cam in South Somerset, some six miles north of Yeovil. The parish includes the hamlet of Wales, Hazlegrove House and surrounding farmland, and has a population of around 1,000. It has some fine old buildings and its recorded history goes back a thousand years, but it is very much a modern, working village. Thanks partly to a major trunk road which passes through the parish and the A359 which passes through the village, it has the benefit of unusually good amenities for a settlement of this size. Not only does it serve its own inhabitants and passing trade, but it also acts as a local hub for neighbouring villages and parishes, including West Camel, Sparkford, Marston Magna and South Cadbury.
