When I first entered this property, it took my breath away, my exact words were "Oh Wow!"

To describe this property to you in 4000 characters is tough, it has so much feeling, so I thought the best way, is to tell you how it made me feel when I visited and give you a heart felt insight.

There's only a handful of terraces in Rossendale that's in a buyer's top most desirable and Poplar Terrace has always been a row I have admired driving past. Tucked away, disguised by trees, I was lucky enough to be invited to number 9 and it exceeded my expectations.

Before visiting this beautiful home, I personally thought it would be smaller, have lower ceilings, smaller room sizes overall. I thought cute cosy cottage with that 'oldy worldy' feel but I was surprisingly shocked when I entered at how much space it actually has and how comfortable you feel inside, I was pleasantly surprised at the height of the ceilings and how long the property is from front to back. It really offers so much living space, it is deceiving from the outside.

As I was being guided through, from the lounge, to the kitchen to upstairs, I was capturing all the aesthetically pleasing features and quality work that has been cleverly thought of, admiring the little touches that have been created, ideas implemented that has enhanced this home on a whole and really made me envious of the next owner!

Tastefully done, the first thing that drew my eye was the fabulous limestone surround log burner, a stand out feature that brings the entire home together, the soul of the home. Then the neatly stacked wood storage wall stood out and was a great talking point, it gives the room character. The beautiful oak banister with matt black steel spindles and the oak doors, very stylish and compliments the immaculately finished walls. Within minutes I was instantly imagining myself excited to come home, lighting the candles, lighting the fire, jumping on the couch and getting my favourite series on and chill.

The kitchen, again, shocked me at how big it was. The area in the centre is a fantastic space to enjoy meal times, family catch ups, chats while cooking. A dining space that doesn't feel crammed in and a space that isn't always available in most two bedroomed terraces, it has it's own space and it's enjoyable.
The kitchen is modern yet suits the cottage style of the home and is fitted with a Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Oven, Microwave Oven, Fridge, Freezer & Wine Cooler.
Not to mention, the kitchen even has space for a work station, comfortably laid out to be able to work from home without taking up a bedroom or space in another room that is needed for something else.

The first thing I noticed when upstairs was the lovely small area of landing space that gives a comfortable separation between the stairs and rooms; a lovely addition in a terrace house.
The master bedroom at the front is a wonderful size, plenty of room for larger beds and still gives ample space either side. Two windows for plenty of natural light, newly plastered walls and panelling that gives the room grandeur.
The second bedroom stretches the length of the kitchen, also freshly plastered and has a great view of what is now an attractive New Home estate with a handy playing area, great for the children and grandkids.

Features the owners have loved:
• South-facing outdoor space
• House stays cool throughout the summer
• Allocated parking space
• Entertainment-focused kitchen space
• Set back from the main road, so it’s peaceful and not overlooked
• On the X43 bus route from Burnley to Manchester
• Around a 15–20 minute walk to Rawtenstall
• Under the stairs storage with electric

Overall this home has it all in my eyes, it made me smile in every room and I didn't want to leave, it had me stealing design ideas for my own home instead. I am very excited to share this with you, so join me on the last weekend of August and give chance at securing a new home by Christmas!....Where would the tree go? - Property Ref : 2709.
