About this property

"Bloomfield Road has been our first home and we have loved our time here over the last 3.5 years. We have felt blessed by the community here and the abundance of amenities on our doorstep is perfect; from Sandy Park High Street with all of its amazing local businesses, to the several surrounding retail parks. The library in particular has been such a treasure. We regularly request books for ourselves and the children and meet other local parents there, heading onto Kin for a coffee and chat. On the weekend, we enjoy grabbing coffee from 'The Deli’ and going to Nightingale valley for a walk - it’s so peaceful there and beautiful through all the seasons. We feel sad to leave this house but having had two children close together we have outgrown the space."

    The home

A three bedroom mid terrace home with neutral décor and plenty of light throughout. There is a reception room at the front with bay window over looking the street and to the rear is a kitchen/diner which spans the width of the house and has windows and doors overlooking the garden. Upstairs are three bedrooms (two doubles and a single) and a family bathroom. There is also a downstairs utility room.

    Outdoor Space

There is a lovely patio directly accessed through double doors from the kitchen and stairs up to a private lawn area with flowerbeds and trees.

    Living in Brislington

Situated in a lovely pocket of houses in Brislington, this property is within walking distance of several well-regarded shops and cafes including Grounded and Deli at Sandy Park. Paintworks is also just a short walk and is home to The Lounge and Alex Does Coffee. Tapestry and Lost & Grounded are nationally renowned Bristol breweries with tap rooms, both of which are within walking distance.

The area is popular with young professionals families, being both close to the city centre but also accessible to several parks and larger green areas, such as the Nightingale Valley Nature Reserve and St Annes Wood. Arnos Vale Cemetery is just a short walk away and there are fairly extensive footpaths around the River Avon, which wrap around Brislington through some scenic spots, which includes the popular Beese’s Riverside Bar to the west. The area is also home to several good schools, such as Hollymead and Broomhill Primary. For commuters, Brislington is well placed, with several buses running through the area including the Park & Ride, as well as routes for cycling and walking to Bristol City Centre.
