I am pleased to offer this exceptional 4-bedroom detached home, situated in the desirable tree-lined Middle Hill area of Englefield Green. This property presents a rare opportunity for renovation and redevelopment, having been originally built as two semi-detached homes.

With scope to either retain its current detached status or revert to its former configuration as two semi-detached properties, this property is ideal for developers, or families looking for a project. The property's potential for renovation and redevelopment offers endless possibilities for those looking to put their own stamp on this unique home.

Location

Englefield Green is a delightful and quintessential village, boasting a range of village pubs, restaurants, and shops. The village is perfectly situated for those who enjoy walking, with Windsor Great Park within easy walking distance.

This property's unique blend of potential and prime location makes it an attractive opportunity for those looking to invest in the area.

History of 46 & 47 Middle Hill

In 1934 Charles Albert Blacklock took a tenancy on a pair of Victorian cottages built in 1869 after the sale of his greengrocery business in High Street Egham. He purchased No. 47 soon after and then 46. In the late 1950s, Bernard Dennis, his grandson began the plant nursery which was to run there until 2025. This was the last surviving market garden/small holding in the village of the nine that flourished there in the 1950s. Herbs and vegetable plants for local allotments were grown with geraniums for hanging baskets and a wide range of bedding plants for local gardens. The two properties (46 & 47 Middle Hill) were amalgamated to form 'Blacklocks House', a large four bedroom house for the family. This is the first time the property has been on the market in 91 years.
