About this property

"We were new to Bristol when we moved here, and choosing Easton was the best choice we could have made. We have decorated our beautiful Victorian house in bold colour to restore some character to the place. We’ve really enjoyed creating an oasis of calm in the garden with lots of biodiversity, and it’s now a great space for some relaxation or a BBQ with friends. We’re near lots of community parks, handy for dog walkers, plus there are Eastville and St George’s parks, about 20 minutes walk away - from Eastville, you can pick up the rambling Frome Valley walkway."

    The Home

This charming two-bedroom bay-fronted Victorian home is situated on Belton Road, a residential road in Easton. On entering the home there is a welcoming feel. There is a reception room on the left hand-side, which has a cosy feel with its wood-burner and sanded down wooden flooring featured throughout the house. Down the hallway is the second reception room which was traditionally used as a dining room. The kitchen at the rear of the home has been recently renovated with a contemporary, sleek feel and a statement metallic splashback. It is well-equipped with space for laundry. The second floor has two generous bedrooms and a beautiful recently-renovated bathroom with large walk-in shower.

    Outdoor Space

The outside space is accessible from the door leading out from the kitchen. The courtyard garden has space for planting and a patio at the rear for outside seating.

    Living in Easton

Belton Road is a street of Victorian homes that occupy a popular pocket of this vibrant residential area of the city. Easton is renowned for its distinctive character and community spirit, and boasts a host of local amenities, attractions and community events that draw many visitors from outside the area. The area is well connected to the city centre and beyond by bike, road and train. Stapleton Road train station is less than a ten minute walk away, offering easy transit to Temple Meads, Redland, as well as Clifton Downs. The M32 and the A431 to Bath are both easily accessible. Just five minutes away, St Marks Road has Bristol Sweet Mart, Fish n Fry, East Bristol Bakery, and The Garden of Easton. Also close by are No 12 Café, The Greenbank pub, and Public Market. This house is a ten minute walk away from Whitehall Primary School that is consistently rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted, while May Park is a similarly well-regarded local option. The area offers a surprising wealth of green spaces including the Greenbank Cemetery, the parks at Eastville and St George, and riverside walks along the nearby Frome Valley, and just minutes from the house is the locally cherished Bristol to Bath Cycle Path, ideal for commuting quickly into the city centre or just for weekend strolls, long runs or bike rides.
