Brickworks says

Located on a peaceful and sought-after street in the heart of Hackney, this house is as gorgeous as it is individual. Spread across three light-filled floors, each room has its own character, yet the overall aesthetic is cohesive, flowing throughout the home. The open-plan, eat-in kitchen with a range cooker and open fire has heart-of-the-home written all over it, with maple units keeping things fresh and modern. And when summer's here, you can spill out through the double doors into the walled garden beyond.

On the middle floor, the double reception room is currently divided into two distinct areas. The front section is a grown-up retreat in deep green featuring shuttered windows and a cast-iron fireplace. In contrast, the back section is utilised as a work-from-home studio that overlooks the garden. The true charm of this space is its versatility, allowing it to adapt to your needs.

The flexibility continues downstairs, where a recently converted room has a raised platform bed, which means it can be used as a study by day and a guest bedroom by night. There is even a pretty ensuite. Joyful vibes fill the main bathroom on the floor above, where candy pink tiles and a terrazzo sink won't fail to lift the mood. Soft hues in the top-floor bedrooms create inviting retreats, with double-glazed sash windows providing extra warmth. Here, as elsewhere, it’s all tied together with an impeccable eye for detail.

Isabella Road is a dream spot for anyone wanting to be in the midst of everything tasty and creative Hackney has to offer. There's a bakery and brewery for every day of the week, Broadway Market to explore, and boutiques on Chatsworth Road to peruse. Despite its urban edge, Hackney is blessed with some of London's most-loved green spaces, including Victoria Park and London Fields. And if needed, the Chesham Arms is handily at the end of the road, which makes for a very decent local.
The owners say

This house means so much to us, and we will be sad to leave it. It holds so many happy memories of when we met, married, and started a family here.

We've done it up slowly and thoughtfully. What I love is that it's perfect for cosy family evenings but also for entertaining friends. Our annual Christmas party and BBQ in the summer have become a real staple in the calendar.

The location is also one of a kind. It's nestled in a little enclave with a quiet neighbourhood feel, and the best pub ever at the heart, but it's also a stone's throw from great transport links, wide open green spaces, and amazing coffee shops, bakeries, boutiques and restaurants.
