About this property
"We have loved living on Hudds Vale Road. It was a perfect first home - a big open plan space to entertain friends, big bright bedrooms, and a 10 second walk to the bus stop, with buses into town.
The street is full of quiet, wonderful neighbours that lent a hand any time we needed it. The long garden also gave sun well into the evening, perfect for eating dinner outside after work. We are very sad to leave this home, but are only moving locally as BS5 is such a great place to live - full of community and great places to eat, drink and shop."
The Home
This charming two-bedroom home is situated on a popular road in the heart of St George. There are two connecting reception rooms on the right hand-side on entering the property, the front reception room has a cosy feel, yet the open layout of the ground floor makes the home feel very spacious. The dining area extends into a large kitchen which leads onto the garden at the rear. The kitchen is well-equipped with deep green metro tiles. The bathroom is on the ground floor at the rear of the property, and at the base of the staircase, so it feels well-connected to the bedrooms.
The second floor has two generous bedrooms with large windows welcoming in plenty of natural light.
Outdoor Space
The long garden at the rear has an outbuilding at the end of the garden, perfect for storage but could be converted into an office space. There is a garden at the front with a hedgerow, contributing to the home's charming curb appeal.
Living in St George
Hudds Vale Road is a quiet road just off of Plummers Hill, east of St George’s Park and within easy reach of Church Road. St George’s Park is one of the city’s most popular green spaces providing a kids play area, tennis courts, a café, a skate park, and a lake. St George has many exciting independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, with this property near to the Crafty Egg, Red Church and Orchard Café. On from this, the much loved Bristol Loaf and The Lock-Up are staples in this community. The shops and cafes of Easton are also easily accessible via the Bristol to Bath cycle path, including East Bristol Bakery, Garden of Easton, and Bristol Sweet Mart. There are several well-regarded schools in the area meaning this is a popular area with families. For commuters Hudds Vale Road is a short journey into Bristol City Centre by bus, bike or car, whilst also being just a short drive from Bath and the motorway networks as well. From this side of the City Centre, Bristol Temple Meads is just a short journey away.
