From Dingwall:
Follow signs to Cromarty. After passing Balblair and the smiddy, ignore the turn to the left signed for Cromarty and head up the hill towards Rosemarkie/Fortrose. Halfway up the hill on a sharp left turn take the side road to the right signed for Mulbuie wood (a gate house is at this corner). Follow this road back up the hill until it ends at the forestry road (Military Road) take the side track to the right and follow it down to the T junction and turn left up to Wood of Brae.
