We’ve loved living on Cobham Drive for the past five years. It’s such a friendly neighbourhood, and from the start we felt at home here.
What made us fall in love with the house was the space and natural light but also location within Croft Gardens. The open-plan downstairs feels bright and welcoming, and the garden is private and not overlooked – perfect for relaxing in the evening sun or entertaining friends and family.
We also love the balance the house offers. It’s part of Croft Gardens, so there’s a great sense of community, but being right on the edge of the estate with the tree line and green space at the front, it feels quiet and secluded at the same time.
This home has been a really special place for us, and we’re sure it will make another family just as happy.

This gorgeous 3 bed detached home sits quietly on a lovely little cul-de-sac of just a handful of homes, all looking onto beautiful green space; it really is a special setting. Built just a few years ago by David Wilson Homes to the popular Hadley design, it’s a home that’s been really well thought out.
Inside, you’ve got a light-filled lounge that runs the full length of the house and there’s a big bay window at the front letting the sunshine pour in. Over on the other side, there’s a fantastic kitchen/diner, also front to back, with granite worktops, plenty of space to cook and entertain, plus a handy utility room that leads straight out to the garden. Speaking of which, the garden’s just been redone and looks super smart. There’s even access into the garage from here.
You’ll also find a downstairs WC and a welcoming entrance hall that sets the tone for the rest of the house.
Upstairs, it’s all about light and space with a big feature window on the landing and three good-sized bedrooms. The main bedroom comes with fitted storage and its own en-suite.
This is a fab family home in a really lovely spot so come take a look!

Cobham Drive is tucked away in the popular Croft Gardens development, right in the heart of Spencers Wood a spot that really gives you the best of both worlds. You’re in a semi-rural setting with lovely green space all around, yet still just minutes from Reading, and with easy links into London via the M4 and the new train station at Green Park, commuting is a breeze.
Spencers Wood has a great village feel, with handy local amenities including a brilliant bakery, convenience store, and village hall. You’re also spoilt for choice when it comes to green space; Langley Mead Nature Reserve is just down the road and perfect for walking the dog or getting some fresh air. A short drive or stroll up the road takes you into Shinfield Village, where you'll find even more amenities like Lidl, a post office and regular bus links into Wokingham and Reading town centres.
