A Note from the Homeowners:
We’ve lived here for the past four years, having been in the area for around 18, and we’ve loved every minute. It’s been ideal for family life, with great schools nearby and being within the Maiden Erlegh catchment. We bought this house because we fell in love with its character, and it’s been such a great spot for getting around – the No.17 bus into Reading Town, Earley station just down the road, and the M4 and A329 only a few minutes away. Now that the kids are a bit older, we’re just looking for a little more space but hope to stay nearby.
From me, the Agent
It’s always a pleasure bringing a little charmer to the market. This bay-fronted Victorian home has a bright front living room, a dining room with exposed brickwork and original floorboards, a classic galley kitchen and downstairs bathroom at the rear. Outside there's a cute, sunny, south-east facing garden to enjoy your morning coffee and a handy shed with power.
Upstairs are three bedrooms (a 2+1 setup), with the third working well as a nursery, dressing room, or home office. The main bedroom also has a handy WC and basin.
Location wise, you’re just a short walk from Palmer Park, local shops, and cafés. It’s ideal for first-time buyers or young families looking for character and convenience, and it falls within the catchment for several popular schools, including Maiden Erlegh, Alfred Sutton, and St Peter’s.
We look forward to showing you around.
