Owners’ Comments
This was our first home together and, from the moment we saw it, we knew it was the one. Set on a quiet, wide road with well-spaced houses and plenty of driveways, the street feels calm and uncongested while still being close to Ivybridge town centre. We bought the house with the intention of starting a family and have happily grown into it over the years.
We will truly miss the strong sense of community. Having moved in during 2019, our neighbours made us feel incredibly welcome, and the street has a genuine, friendly atmosphere that is rare to find. The memories made here, raising our daughter and our dog, make this home very special to us.
The location is ideal for everyday life. Ivybridge town centre is just a 10-minute walk away, offering independent shops, cafés, supermarkets, leisure facilities, a library and cinema. Beautiful walks are right on the doorstep, with woodland, green spaces and Dartmoor all close by. The train station is within a 20-minute walk, local schools are 5–10 minutes away, and the coast can be reached in around 20 minutes by car.
