The layout has always been one of the biggest joys of this home. With two bedrooms, two bathrooms, allocated parking, and a lovely private balcony, it offers a rare combination of practicality and lifestyle appeal. The balcony has been my personal sanctuary, a peaceful spot for morning coffee, fresh air, or simply unwinding after a long day. The flat is bright, spacious and easy to live in, with a sense of flow that makes it feel welcoming from the moment you walk through the door.
One of the greatest advantages of living here is the exceptional connectivity. I’m just a five‐minute walk from Lloyd Park Tram Stop, which takes you directly to Wimbledon or straight to East Croydon. From East Croydon, you can catch the fastest trains to Gatwick Airport, which has been perfect for me as someone who loves to travel. It also gives you quick access to Brighton, ideal for spontaneous seaside trips or summer days on the coast. For commuters, the convenience is unbeatable, you can reach London Bridge in around 20 minutes, making central London incredibly accessible. You’re also only a 10‐minute walk to South Croydon Station and about 15 minutes to East Croydon Station, giving you multiple transport options right on your doorstep.
The neighbourhood is another reason I stayed so long. South Croydon truly stands out, it’s peaceful, green, and residential, yet full of life and convenience. The area is surrounded by excellent schools, making it a fantastic choice for families taking their next step but wanting to be in a genuinely high‐quality location. There’s a wonderful balance here: Friendly cafés, beautiful parks, great transport links and a strong sense of community that’s increasingly rare this close to London. Lloyd Park, just moments away, has been one of my favourite places to walk, relax and enjoy the outdoors.
This home has been a significant part of my life and it isn’t easy to say goodbye. But it’s time for me to begin a new chapter and embrace a new journey. I hope the next owner will love this flat and the area as much as I have. It’s a wonderful property in a fantastic location and i’m proud to pass it on in such excellent condition.”
