This is a really well set up family home with a great amount of space both inside and out.
The sun room at the back is a brilliant addition as it’s a really light space that opens straight onto the garden, so it works perfectly as a day room or somewhere to have people over.
You’ve also got a separate living room which is ideal for quieter evenings, so there’s a nice balance between social space and somewhere to relax.
If you work from home, there are a couple of options here. There’s space inside the house, plus a separate room off the garage which has been set up as an additional workspace.
The garage itself is longer than average, with power and useful storage above, so it’s great from a practical point of view.
Upstairs, there are four good-sized bedrooms, including a main bedroom with its own en-suite.
Parking is another strong point, there’s space for multiple vehicles as well as the garage.
Catfield is a lovely village with a real community feel. You can walk to the infant school, local shop, post office and the pub, which makes everyday life that bit easier.
You’re also well placed for getting out and about, with easy routes to Norwich and Great Yarmouth, and just a short drive to Stalham and Potter Heigham.

We relocated to Norfolk back in 2010, we didn’t know the area and are so lucky to have found Catfield.
The house had been empty for a while when we purchased it, so it felt strange walking through a completely empty house but we definitely got that homely feel.
Since moving in, we’ve added an office in the rear of the garage which was a god send during covid with working from home, we’ve renovated the ensuite, we added the glass garden room a few years ago and have since have added the internal roof so now we can use all year-round, we’ve recently had a new external boiler fitted which freed up another cupboard in the kitchen.
We love the proportions of the house and with the internal patio doors open it gives a free flow throughout downstairs.
With the double aspect landing leading to the bedroom, it’s never felt closed in and we love the fact we’re not too over looked by anyone.
It’s been great having 3 double bedrooms and the single especially when family and friends came to stay, we weren’t on top of each other.
We loved the fact the village has all the amenities that you would need or want in a village, the shop, post office, good bus route to Norwich and Great Yarmouth, the junior school, village hall with children’s play area, the Church even a nice pub plus the amazing countryside around which lends itself to great walks.
The house is in a welcoming neighbourhood; any family will hopefully be as happy here as we’ve been.
