From the moment you step inside, the sense of warmth and practicality is clear. A separate front living room provides that all-important retreat - Whether it’s quiet evenings or a more formal space to unwind away from the hub of the home.
It’s a layout that allows everyone their own space, while keeping the family connected.
To the rear, the property opens up into what is undoubtedly the heart of this home - A stunning kitchen and dining space designed for modern family living. The kitchen sits proudly with a central island finished in quartz worktops, complemented by high-spec integrated Neff and Bosch appliances, double ovens, and a double fridge freezer - built to handle everything from busy weekday mornings to full family gatherings. A Quooker tap adds that touch of everyday luxury.
The kitchen/diner flows seamlessly out through full-width bi-fold doors onto a south-facing garden - A space where indoor and outdoor living blend effortlessly. Skylights above flood the room with natural light, while underfloor heating ensures comfort all year round. It’s easy to picture summer barbecues, children playing in the garden, and long evenings entertaining friends. The convenience of a separate cloakroom makes it perfect for busy family life.
Upstairs – Designed for Family Comfort
The home continues to impress upstairs with four generous double bedrooms and a versatile fifth room currently used as a home office - Ideal for modern working life or easily adapted to be a nursery. The layout works for growing families, offering flexibility as needs evolve.
The bathrooms are equally well considered, with a family bathroom featuring a freestanding bath and separate shower - giving both practicality and a touch of indulgence - alongside an additional bathroom to keep the whole household happy on those busy mornings.
Outside, the property benefits from a large driveway, garage, and a useful utility room - all the practical elements that make day-to-day family life run smoothly.
And then there is the location - That truly works for family life.
Chadacre Avenue sits within easy reach of Gants Hill Central Line Station (approx. 0.9 miles), offering direct access into Central London - making commuting straightforward while still enjoying a quieter, family-friendly setting.
For families, schooling is a major draw, with highly regarded options nearby, including Beal High School, Ilford County Grammar School, and Parkhill Infants and Primary School, among others, all contributing to the strong community feel of the area.
Weekends and downtime are just as appealing, with families often heading to Fairlop Waters Country Park for lakeside walks and activities, Clayhall Park for green open space, or staying active at Redbridge Sports Centre, as well as plenty of local amenities, shops and restaurants that Barkingside High Street has to offer.
This is more than just a house - It’s a home that evolves with you. Whether you’re upsizing, accommodating a growing family, or simply looking for a better balance between space, comfort, and location, with the added benefit of being chain-free.
Owner’s View:
This has been a very happy home for us, and i’ve truly loved living here. It’s a place full of great memories, watching my children grow from primary school through to secondary school, with some excellent schools nearby that have been a real benefit to us.
The street itself is really lovely - Quiet, friendly and with wonderful neighbours who have made it feel safe and welcoming over the years. It’s the kind of place where you feel settled and at ease.
We’ve also really enjoyed how convenient the location is, with great amenities close by. One of our favourite things to do has been spending time at Fairlop Waters - Going for bike rides and taking the dog out, which has always been a special part of our routine.
