What the owner loves:

What first drew us to this home on Salisbury Road was the wonderful neighbourhood and the outstanding local schools, particularly Fielding Primary and Elthorne Park High School. The location has also been ideal for access to several of London’s leading private schools, making it a great base for families considering both excellent state and independent education options. Being so close to Lammas Park, Elthorne Park and the Grand Union Canal has been a real joy for walks and family time outdoors. As office commuters, we’ve also loved how convenient the location is, with easy access to both the Piccadilly and Elizabeth lines making journeys into central London and beyond straightforward.

Over time we’ve shaped the home to suit our lifestyle. One of our favourite additions is the custom garden outbuilding, which we designed as a compact home gym and cycle store. It comfortably houses our bikes along with a Peloton, adjustable dumbbells, kettlebells and bench, making it easy to stay active without leaving home.

Inside the house, the bespoke backlit library with its sliding ladder has become a much-loved feature, adding warmth and character while creating the perfect place to relax with a good book.

The loft has been transformed into a cinema and music room that also works beautifully as a private office when needed. With sliding doors to separate the space, it’s both versatile and peaceful for working from home. The cinema setup features high-end 7.1 in-ceiling immersive surround sound from Bowers & Wilkins, paired with a high-end jvc projector and arcam receiver, along with a large 104-inch motorised screen, creating a truly special experience for movie nights, music and entertaining.

Throughout the home there is generous storage and thoughtful design that makes everyday living comfortable and practical. Combined with the welcoming community, nearby parks and canal walks, this has been a home that balances convenience, lifestyle and character beautifully. We hope the next owners will enjoy it as much as we have and create their own special memories here.

Why we'd buy this home:

From the moment you step inside, this home immediately feels like somewhere you can truly settle into and grow. It strikes that rare balance between style, comfort, period charm and modern practicality, offering beautifully considered living spaces that work just as well for everyday family life as they do for entertaining.

One of the standout features is the sense of light and space throughout. Large windows and well-proportioned rooms create a bright, uplifting atmosphere, while the layout flows effortlessly, making the home feel both welcoming and functional.

The overall finish of the property reflects care and attention, and there are some magical touches such as the new outbuilding with secure rear access for bikes, a beautiful built-in library, and a loft room which acts as a bedroom, a home office and transforms into a high-tech, high-spec cinema room.

The kitchen is very much the heart of the home. It’s easy to imagine busy mornings, relaxed weekend breakfasts, and evenings spent entertaining, all centred around this inviting and contemporary space.

Upstairs, the bedrooms offer a peaceful retreat, each providing comfort and flexibility, ideal for growing families, working from home, or accommodating guests.

Outside, the property continues to impress, offering private outdoor space that’s perfect for relaxing, playing, or entertaining in the warmer months. It adds an extra dimension to the home, extending the living space beyond the interior.

Location is another key reason we would choose this home. Well-positioned for local amenities, transport links, and community life, it provides both convenience and a sense of connection which has been further enhanced with the Elizabeth Line.

Ultimately, this isn’t just a house - it’s a home that offers lifestyle, flexibility, and long-term growth. It’s the kind of place you can see yourself enjoying for years to come.
