      Directions: From Newcastle Emlyn Town Centre, proceed on the A484 towards Carmarthen and then turn onto the B4333 Cynwyl Elfed road, before the Builders Merchants and supermarket. Carry on past the Milk Factory and up through the winding forested road. Carry on along two long straight stretches and keep climbing up past the windmills. On reaching the top and along a straight stretch you will see a picnic site on the right hand side. After passing this, take the next left hand turning before going down into the dip. Carry on down here and to the mini crossroads. Turn right and go down to the next track on the right hand side and the gateway to the field will be just off the track.

The field is mainly gently sloping, with some two thirds of the pastureland in good heart and with some corners being more sloping in nature and for rough grazing. The wooded copse comprises of mature deciduous trees. Boundary fencing would need to be strengthened to make it completely stock proof. A stream runs along the eastern boundary in the Dingle.
