A Well Proportioned Two Bedroom Apartment Set In A Beautiful Red Brick Mansion Block

Greater London Properties Presents
A fantastic opportunity to acquire this well-proportioned two-bedroom apartment extending to approximately 607 sq ft, ideally positioned on the ground floor of the sought-after Sinclair House development in the heart of Bloomsbury.

The Property
The apartment offers a bright and spacious reception room, two well-sized double bedrooms, a modern fully fitted kitchen, and a contemporary bathroom, all thoughtfully arranged to maximise both comfort and practicality. The layout lends itself perfectly to both owner-occupiers seeking a Central London home and investors looking for a strong and reliable rental asset. The apartment further benefits from a share of the freehold, adding long-term security and additional appeal.

Residents benefit from a communal rooftop terrace, providing a peaceful retreat above the city, as well as the added convenience and security of a live-in caretaker.

Location and Transport
Sinclair House is enviably located on Thanet Street, placing you in one of Central London’s most characterful and well-connected neighbourhoods. Bloomsbury is celebrated for its elegant garden squares, historic charm, and academic heritage, with renowned institutions such as ucl, soas, and the British Museum all within easy walking distance. The Brunswick Centre is moments away, offering an excellent selection of shops, restaurants, cafés, and leisure facilities, including a Waitrose and cinema.

The location is exceptionally well served for transport, with Russell Square Underground Station just a short walk away, providing direct access to the West End, Covent Garden, and Heathrow Airport via the Piccadilly line. King’s Cross St Pancras is also within easy reach, offering extensive Underground connections, national rail services, and international travel via Eurostar, while Euston Station provides further links to the North and beyond. The West End, Covent Garden, and Soho are all within walking distance, making this an ideal base to enjoy the very best of London’s cultural and social scene.

'What the Owner Says'
Our flat has been a really special place for us over the 20+years of ownership. My husband’s office was based in West Yorkshire, but his work with government departments, universities and hospitals often brought him down to London, sometimes for extended stays. Having a base here made all the difference.

We bought the flat in 2005, and it immediately felt right. Its central location was a huge draw-being so close to mainline stations and within easy walking distance of everywhere my husband needed to be, made life much simpler.

It quickly became more than just a practical base. The whole family loved spending time there, whether for short visits or longer stays. Our son even lived in the flat for a couple of years when he first started his career, before eventually moving back to Manchester. Over time, we also opened it up to the sons and daughters of friends who needed somewhere to stay while working in London. It truly became a home from home for many people.

One of the things we particularly appreciated was that it’s on the ground floor-no need to worry about stairs or relying on a lift, and easy access in and out. The two bedrooms overlook a peaceful, green courtyard, which gives a real sense of calm. Meanwhile, the sitting room is bright and airy, offering a pleasant view of the world going by while still feeling private.
We’ve always felt very safe and secure there. The building has a secure exterior door system linked directly to the on-site caretaker, who is alerted whenever it’s accessed. On top of that, the flat itself has its own front door with two different locks and an internal chain, which gave us extra peace of mind. The caretaker has always been friendly, approachable and very helpful.

Despite being right in the heart of London, and just a short walk from train stations, the underground, buses, and the Brunswick Centre (with its excellent Waitrose), the flat is wonderfully quiet and relaxing-a little oasis in the middle of a busy city.
