Having lived on Montague Park for the last seven years, I can truly attest to what a lovely place it is to live. It’s a very easy walk into Wokingham for coffees, cakes, and cocktails, a short drive Bracknell for shopping at the Lexicon, and great road links for getting out and about to a variety of other places.
The estate itself has lots to offer. I began my “couch to 5k” journey round the little paths that wind round the estate, and the sang is really beautiful, especially in the spring and summer months with all the wild flowers. It’s a great place for runs and walks (with or without canine companions)! There are numerous playgrounds suitable for children of a range of ages, and several pubs within walking distance, all with their own personality. There’s the Coop too, a very well stocked little shop with friendly staff, very useful when you realise half way through cooking that you lack a key ingredient!
Whilst it’s time for me to upsize, I really think this was a wonderful place to have my first property amongst supportive neighbours in a lovely community.

These apartments are brilliant designs, you can tell a lot of thought has gone into them.
Starting outside, you’ve got your own allocated parking space plus plenty of visitor spaces dotted around the development. There is also a dedicated bin store to keep everything neatly out of sight, along with good bike storage.
Inside, the block feels really private, with just three other ground-floor apartments, giving it a nice sense of community. You enter into a welcoming hallway with three storage cupboards, two are great sizes and another is set up for the tumble dryer with more storage too.
The first bedroom is the main bedroom, complete with built-in wardrobes and its own ensuite shower room. Bedroom two is another really well-proportioned double, and opposite you’ll find the family bathroom.
At the end of the hallway, you’ve got a fantastic open-plan kitchen, dining, and living space, a brilliant social space. The kitchen offers great storage and plenty of worktop space, while the living area benefits from dual-aspect windows and a lovely bay window, bringing in lots of natural light.

Montague Park is a popular development built by David Wilson Homes, ideally located for easy access to Wokingham town centre, Bracknell, and the A329M.
Within the development itself, you’ve got a Co-Op for everyday essentials, as well as some lovely green spaces with ponds - perfect for a walk. There’s also Floreat Montague Park Primary School right on the doorstep, making it a great option for families.
