"I moved into this house over 35 years ago because we were drawn to it being in a quiet cul-de-sac, the lovely sunny enclosed garden, great pubs in the village with one on the river, walks up the local woods, we soon realised we were part of a fabulous village community.

The fact we could walk with friends to all 4 schools from the pre-school up at the park, then on to the Senior school was a real bonus. It also meant the house was full of joy & laughter.

It is a great family village which the boys took full advantage of - going to Beavers, Cubs, Scouts & taking canoes out at the local boating club, run by the village. Every year they would join in the fun of the annual Wargrave Regatta which they both really enjoyed.

At Christmas & birthday celebrations, when we have all the family round, the large living room is a wonderful social space to chat & we can get 14 round the extended dining table.

We modernised the house throughout & have enjoyed living here very much. The patio is great for breakfast in the morning sun & as the decking area gets the evening sun, it is perfect for those summer nights with a meal and a glass of wine.

The boys have flown the nest and now have families of their own. We are now ready to downsize and move closer to the family and help more with our grandchildren.

We would love this wonderful home to go to another family to enjoy. So that they too can create their own memories and experience the joy, fun and pleasure we have had"
