Situated around 2 miles from Chelmsford City Centre, Galleywood is a highly regarded suburb of the city with a good reputation for a place to raise your family. Primary and secondary schools are within walking distance as are local shops, whilst if you are looking to relax on a weekend then Chelmer Park is just at the end of the road and there is plenty of open countryside as well as Galleywood Common for walks, and if you fancy a change from Chelmsford then pretty village of Stock has some lovely pub/restaurants, with Billericay just beyond. For those travelling further afield, you can pick up the A12 within minutes.
