The larger centre of Bishops Stortford is approximately seven miles distant and provides a more comprehensive range of social, recreational and educational facilities. There is a mainline railway station in Bishops Stortford which provides a regular service to London (Liverpool Street approx 35 minutes), and the M11 can be reached on the outskirts of the town.
