Set on a quiet residential street on the cusp of Wood Green and Tottenham, this two-bedroom home has been completely renovated by its current owners. Alongside a fresh new look, the house has been upgraded throughout; electrics, plumbing, heating, windows and a reconfigured living space. Thoughtful choices of colour, pattern and materials give the interiors personality without overwhelming them.
The ground floor has been opened up to create a sociable living space, and upstairs are two comfortable bedrooms and a smart bathroom. The garden offers plenty of room for the children, projects and outdoor entertaining, while a substantial garden room adds valuable extra space. Clad in birch ply and finished with fully glazed doors, it works equally well as a home office, studio, gym - or all three at different points in the week.
The neighbourhood balances community and convenience with ease. Pick up a coffee from Bean & Brew, meet friends for pizza and a pint at Goodness Brewing, or head to Oita for dinner. Lordship Recreation Ground is nearby for green space and weekend wandering, while both Wood Green and White Hart Lane stations are around a 20-minute walk away.
The owners say
What we love most about the house is how peaceful and calm the neighbourhood feels, while still being close to everything we need. The house itself has a strong sense of space, with open-plan living areas that work well for both everyday life and entertaining. And there's plenty of storage space throughout.
We especially enjoy the big garden, which is great for summer gatherings with friends and family. It's where our two daughters spend a lot of time playing, and we use it for gardening and spending time outdoors. The light-flooded bathroom and the overall brightness throughout the home also add to the sense of ease.
