The entrance hall sets the tone, leading into a welcoming lounge at the front of the house where soft tones, feature wall colour and elegant herringbone-style flooring create a relaxing space to unwind. It is the kind of room that works just as well for quiet evenings as it does for family time, with plenty of room for comfortable seating and personal touches.
To the rear, the kitchen and dining area opens out into a bright and sociable space that feels like the true heart of the home. Sleek contemporary units, integrated appliances and generous work surfaces make the kitchen both practical and attractive, while the dining area sits beside French doors opening directly onto the garden. It is an easy, natural setting for everyday meals, weekend entertaining and summer evenings with the doors open. A downstairs cloakroom and useful storage complete the ground floor.
The first floor offers three well-proportioned bedrooms, each with its own flexibility. One is currently arranged as a calm nursery, another as a comfortable sitting room or guest space, which comes with it's own en-suite, while the fourth bedroom makes an excellent home office, with fitted shelving and room to work properly from home. A modern family bathroom serves this level, finished with warm tiling, a contemporary suite and a bath with shower attachment.

Chatham is famous for its Naval connection’s, hosting one of the Royal Navy’s main facilities for hundreds of years until it’s closure in 1984. Since the closure the former site, now known as St Mary’s Island, has been transformed and boasts a new retail outlet centre, bars, cafe’s, restaurants, gym and cinema to compliment the harbour and vast array of riverside housing. Part of the original naval history has also been preserved through the Historic Dockyard Trust, which provides an insight into past traditions. The Pentagon shopping centre and high street offer everything that you will need with a wide range of stores. Chatham is a commuter’s dream. High Speed rail links to Stratford International in just over 30 minutes or St Pancras International in just over 38 minutes. London Victoria is also accessible in just over 52 minutes. Trips to the continent are also within easy reach via the Eurostar, which departs from nearby Ebbsfleet. In any part of the town you are never too far from road links, the A2 and M2 are easily accessible in under 5 miles. With the M20 and M25 approximately 10 miles away. Chatham and near-by Rochester offer a fantastic range of primary and secondary schools, as well as the University of Greenwich, Kent and The Creative Arts.
What the owners say:
"What first attracted us to this home was its position in the Horsted Park estate. Our plot overlooks a lovely green space, which gives the house a sense of privacy. It isn’t overlooked by neighbouring properties, and being set back from the main estate roads means it’s quiet too. The private parking spaces are located beneath a coach house, which we’ve found both secure and convenient. There’s also plenty of visitor parking nearby, whether around the central green or at the rear of the property.
The estate location has been ideal for us. The open fields of Horsted Valley are just a short walk away, making it perfect for dog walks. There are several parks within the development for children of all ages, and everyday essentials are incredibly convenient, with a retail park, gym and a 24-hour supermarket all close by. It’s also quick and easy to get to Chatham and Rochester train stations to commute into London.
Over the years, we’ve really enjoyed making this house our home, taking care and pride in upgrading its features. We have added a number of smart home technologies, some of which could be included for the new owners if desired."
