Note from the owner: Fell in love with the flat when I first saw it, only moving now to be closer to parents in Yorkshire. When I walked in, the split level made it feel like a little house in the sky. It get's wonderful light in the morning from the Queensbridge Road and in the afternoon / evening from the balcony. It's lovely to sit out there on a warm summers evening and have a drink and we've done our best to brighten our corner of the building with our plants and flowers. The kitchen and bathroom were newly installed when I moved in so just tidied and painted where needed. Throughout the flat i've stripped decades of paintwork back to wood and repainted, including doors, as well as redecorating walls and ceilings, windows above doors (which I got to open again after decades being painted shut) using paint from Little Greene, then changed the carpets throughout, doing my best to treat as a 'restoration project' to try and keep some of the original character.

The location is excellent as I can get to central London for work very quickly on the Windrush Line (quick connections to the Victoria Line at Highbury & Islington or Elizabeth Line / Hammersmith & City at Whitechapel. It's also incredible to have areas like London Fields, Broadway Market, Columbia Road, Shoreditch and Dalston on the doorstep. Angel is only a 30 min walk, and a nice one too if you follow the canal. There's some lovely places even closer in Haggerston itself. The Duke of Wellington is a great old school pub nearby, and on a warm evening you can sit outside in the square; or map Maison on Kingsland Rd if you fancy a cocktail. Little Italian restaurant (Mo Mangio) in the triangle of shops off Scriven Street is excellent and only 2 mins away and the square also has a great local shop, chemist, and yoga studio, we will surely miss having so much on our doorstep.
