When we went to do some work in the lounge, we discovered the chimney breast had been covered up - we uncovered it, kept it as exposed brick and painted it. We've modernised it, but not too much. New windows throughout, new flooring throughout. It's a real village setting, so there's a great community - everyone knows everyone. And the driveway is much bigger than the neighbouring properties too."
