What We've Loved About Living Here
Our home has been at the heart of so many wonderful memories over the last six years. It was the first home we bought together, where we brought our little boy home, got engaged, planned our wedding and watched our family grow.
We originally fell in love with the location – being able to walk to the green, Horseshoe Lake, local shops, great schools... And, of course, the pub! But what has really made living here so special is the wonderful sense of community and our amazing neighbours.
We've loved family meals, relaxing together at home and spending time in our beautiful garden. It has been a genuinely happy home and, if our circumstances hadn't changed and we didn't need something to suit the next chapter of our lives, we would happily stay.
We'll be incredibly sad to leave, but we have no doubt the next owners will love it just as much as we have and create many wonderful memories of their own.
Jack's Comments
What really stands out to me about this home is how adaptable it is. Whether you're a growing family, need space to work from home or you're looking for a layout that can evolve with you over the years, this house gives you plenty of options without feeling compromised.
The extension has completely changed the way the house lives. The L-shaped kitchen and dining space is the real hub of the home, creating somewhere that naturally brings everyone together while still leaving room to cook, entertain or keep an eye on the children. It's a space I can imagine being used every day, whether it's a quick breakfast before school or hosting friends at the weekend.
The flexibility downstairs is another real strength. Having two additional rooms means you can tailor the house to your own lifestyle. They work equally well as extra bedrooms, a playroom, home office or even a separate snug, depending on what you need now and in the future.
Outside, the private garden offers a lovely place to unwind, with the pergola creating a great spot to enjoy a summer evening. The generous driveway parking is another practical benefit that makes everyday life that little bit easier.
Location is always important, and Greenleas Close is a great place to call home. You're within easy walking distance of Yateley High Street, Horseshoe Lake and the surrounding green spaces, while the area has a real community feel that's reflected in what the current owners have shared about living here.
For me, this is one of those homes that offers more than the photos initially suggest. It's incredibly versatile, beautifully presented and ready for its next family to move in and make the most of everything it has to offer.
Area View
Greenleas Close is a popular residential cul-de-sac in the heart of Yateley, offering a great balance of convenience, green space and community. It's the sort of location where families settle for years, thanks to its quiet setting and easy access to everything you need on a daily basis.
One of the biggest attractions is just how walkable the area is. Yateley High Street is only a short stroll away, providing supermarkets, cafés, independent shops and everyday essentials. Horseshoe Lake is also within walking distance and is a favourite for paddleboarding, open water swimming, fishing and peaceful walks, while Yateley Green offers plenty of open space for families, dog walkers and local events throughout the year.
Families are well served by a selection of highly regarded schools, including Westfields Infant School, Cranford Park Primary School and Yateley School, all within easy reach.
For commuters, the nearby M3, A30 and A331 provide excellent road connections, while Blackwater, Sandhurst and Farnborough stations all offer convenient rail links into Reading, Guildford and London.
Yateley continues to be one of the area's most sought-after places to live, combining a friendly community feel with fantastic outdoor spaces and excellent day-to-day amenities, making it a location that appeals to buyers at every stage of life.
