If you lived here...

The bay-fronted reception room makes a lovely first impression, with plenty of natural light, original wooden floorboards and crisp white walls creating a calm backdrop. Built-in shelving brings both character and useful storage, while the generous bay gives the room an inviting sense of space. The double bedroom sits just behind, finished in soft neutral tones, before the layout continues through to the kitchen diner. Here, white cabinetry, timber worktops and classic metro tiling keep things clean and understated, with ample room for a dining table. The bathroom continues the simple palette with white metro tiles and a bath with shower above.

From the kitchen diner, the flat opens directly onto its private rear garden. Paved for easy upkeep and framed by dark fencing and planted borders, it feels nicely tucked away from the street. At the far end, the garden studio provides a separate space away from the main home, currently set up as an office and ideal for working from home. Altogether, the combination of period character, bright interiors and genuinely useful outdoor space makes this a home that’s easy to imagine settling into.

A word from the owner...

"We fell in love with the period details here right away, the bay windows bring in so much light, and the original wood floors give the flat so much character.
While we were initially looking for a bigger place, compromising on a one-bed was the best decision we made. The garden studio gave us that extra space we needed, it’s been a lifesaver for working from home, and it’s hosted family when they’ve visited. Our large kitchen-diner has been fantastic for bringing friends and family together for special occasions.
The garden is paved and really easy to keep up, with plenty of room for a table and chairs on warm summer evenings. The neighborhood is a friendly street full of families, with kids playing outside in the summer, and being just 10 minutes from Plaistow Station makes getting around London super easy."
