The Sellers View...
We bought our home in 2017, and as the first house we ever bought together, it has been a huge part of our lives. Over the years, it has been the backdrop to some of the most important moments for our family. We got married while living here, welcomed our son, and watched him take his very first steps in this house. It has truly been our family home.
Since moving in, we have made a lot of changes to the property to make it our own. We have replaced all of the windows, installed new flooring throughout, replaced the bathroom, fitted a new kitchen, and added a large orangery. The orangery has become one of our favourite spaces in the house, giving us extra room for family life and entertaining. We have loved seeing the house change and grow alongside our family over the years.
One of the things we have loved most about living here is Holyport itself. It has such a lovely village feel, while still being conveniently located for everything we need. The community is wonderful, and we have been lucky enough to have such lovely neighbours. There is a real sense that people look out for one another, and we have always felt very settled here.
After nearly ten years here, our family’s needs have changed. In recent years I have become disabled, and we have reached the difficult decision that we need to find a home that is more suitable for our circumstances and easier for us to manage as a family. It is therefore very bittersweet to be leaving the first home we bought together.
We have put a lot of love into this house and have so many happy memories here. We hope that the next owners will enjoy living here as much as we have, make it their own, and create many wonderful memories of their own.
