One of the original truly grand residences on this iconic street in Tenby, East Rock House is a superb property that has been lovingly restored by its current owners. With its position originally chosen for the strength of the rock beneath it, the home’s setting on the outcrop of the cliff affords it not just generational stability, but also fabulous views along the stunning stretch of sand below and out to the islands of St Catherine’s and Caldey beyond. East Rock House offers seven bedrooms spread over five floors, with sumptuous living spaces set over the first two levels. The home boasts large terraces to the front and rear, with the rear area enjoying not only beautiful views and a cedarwood hot tub, but also private steps down to the golden sands below. If you find this stunning accommodation impressive, you are in illustrious company, as one of Britain’s greatest military heroes, Lord Admiral Nelson, stayed at East Rock House on one of his tours around the British coastline. For those looking for the pinnacle of coastal living in the heart of the thriving community of Tenby, this remarkable home is hard to beat.

Entering the home from the front terrace, you arrive in a spacious entrance hall. To your right, you find a cloakroom, with a welcoming snug reception room to your left. In front of you is the main formal sitting room, which enjoys stunning views and double doors opening onto the balcony. Descending to the lower level of the home, you first enter a very useful utility/boot room, which offers a range of fitted units and white goods, and has a door to the front of the home and a cloakroom. Continuing into the main kitchen/dining area, you find a stunning solid wood Neptune kitchen along the right-hand wall, with space for a large dining area to the left. The end of the room is almost entirely glazed and has access out to the rear terrace.

Climbing the stairs up from the ground floor, you find two double bedrooms on the first floor, one at the front and one to the rear of the home, along with a shower room and separate WC. On the second floor, you find two further double bedrooms along with a family bathroom. On the top floor are the final three double bedrooms, one of which is en-suite, along with an additional shower room. All the bedrooms to the rear of the property enjoy stunning sea views, with the bedrooms at higher levels on the front elevation benefiting from views down the street towards Tenby Harbour.

Externally, the property enjoys a surprisingly large, walled front terrace. This spot is perfect for enjoying the evening sun or having your own private space in the heart of this bustling town. A staircase leads down from the front of the property to the lower level, giving access to the utility/boot room. This area also houses three large, dry storage cellars, which extend beneath the front patio and provide excellent storage space. To the rear of the home, accessed from the ground-floor sitting room, you have access to a superb balcony which enjoys breathtaking views over the sea and has stairs down to the main courtyard. This space is the perfect entertaining area, with doors opening from the kitchen/dining room leading out to the covered sheltered terrace with steps down to the spacious garden courtyard which enjoy a picture-perfect backdrop of the coastline and sea. In this space, you find a cedarwood hot tub and an outdoor shower, with private steps leading down to the beach below.
