Ground Floor
Step inside, and sunlight floods the open spaces through expansive floor to ceiling windows and doors, framing sweeping views of the garden and rolling landscape beyond. To the front left is a good size utility, with plumbing for appliances, and a cloakroom. The hub of the home is the spacious open-plan kitchen/dining/living area that even with a large table has enough space for sofas and soft chairs as a ‘chill out’ area, a generous space that provides practicality at all times of the day. Ideal for children to relax when home from school, waiting for dinner to be served. The quality of this home is further enhanced with a Nicholas Anthony kitchen with a large central island and fitted with Gaggenau appliances - including induction hob, microwave oven, convection oven, steam oven and two plate warmers - must have features for those keen and aspiring chefs. A large standalone walk-in pantry is another pleasing and useful feature. The open plan design works well for family dining, romantic diners for two or large family gatherings and entertaining friends. Glazed doors from the back of the kitchen open onto the large enclosed terrace that help bring the outside in. A perfect area to enjoy breakfast, dinner or summer evenings, with al-fresco dining, plenty of wine and a place to debate, discuss and put the world to rights or simply have fun and laughter with friends and family. With the west facing garden the terrace is also ideal for lazy afternoons listening to music, a podcast, catching up on the latest best seller or simply relaxing. The central hallway would perfectly suit a piano or, for less musical people, bookshelves providing a relaxing reading area or even exercise equipment, as do our current vendors. To the right of the staircase is the lounge which is filled with light from the front window and rear patio doors.
First Floor
Another key feature of this home is the superb and spacious principal bedroom suite. With en-suite shower and walk-in wardrobe. Light filled with a vaulted ceiling and glazed doors opening up to the expansive rear balcony facing out across the open fields perfect for a breakfast treat or late evening nightcap before retiring for the day. All remaining double bedrooms have built-in wardrobes and, the fourth bedroom also has direct access to the rear balcony. A four piece family bathroom completes the first floor.
Second Floor
There is an exciting opportunity to add value and additional accommodation. Currently the second floor provides an extensive attic and useful storage space. However, the infrastructure, plumbing and electrics, are in place to allow for this to be fitted as a playroom, home office, cinema room, guest suite or a combination of uses. An air source heat pump is in place to be connected to provide heating
Externally
Electric gates, that can be controlled remotely, give access to the spacious shingle driveway with off street parking for multiple vehicles, small boats and canoes. Easily enough parking space for a large family and their guests. The large double garage with power and light has a ladder for first floor storage. The almost west facing rear garden is mainly laid to lawn with an abundance of trees and shrubs providing a high level of privacy. Plenty of space for children to run and play securely and enjoy outdoor life
