First Homes are a Government-backed scheme designed to get first-time buyers onto the property ladder by offering selected homes exclusively to first-time buyers* at a discounted price. Meaning you could not only need a smaller deposit to buy your first home and but also a smaller mortgage too!

So who can buy?

To qualify for the First Homes scheme, you must:

  • Be a first-time buyer (including any other purchasers)
  • Have an annual household income of £80,000 or less


And you must either:
