This 5-bedroom chalet, built in the traditional Savoyard style, has charm and comfort and the location is absolutely fabulous.
Part of a 4 chalet enclave, it has its own private parking, access to the pistes within minutes of stepping outside and a view of Mont Blanc that takes your breath away!
On the ground floor is the entrance, ski-room (with bootwarmers) and two large bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms.
The second floor has three more bedrooms and bathrooms. Spacious and well designed for comfort and a home-from-home feel.
On the top floor is the open plan living space. It's a great space to relax in following a full day on the pistes (luckily you don't have far to walk from the piste to the chalet after all those efforts), slip on your comfy shoes, put your feet up in front of the fire or take your apéro out onto the balcony to watch the sun set on Mont Blanc.
The fully fitted kitchen next to the large dining table means that dinner can be a relaxed and convivial affair.
At 1800m altitude, Plagne 1800, which is part of the La Plagne ski resort benefits from being snow sure each winter with access to the 225km of pistes of La Plagne and 425km of pistes in Paradiski. From Plagne 1800 you are three chairlifts away (Meleze, Bergerie and the Arpette) from the Vanoise Express which links La Plagne to Les Arcs.
La Plagne is well known for its range of pistes; challenging blacks from the back of the Becoin, cruisy blues and reds from the Roche de Mio and Grande Rochette peaks, forest skiing in Montalbert and Montchavin and stunning scenery and skiing from the glacier at 3250m altitude. The new telecabine from Bellecote to the Roche de Mio is going to be a great change to the skiing landscape, opening winter 2025/26.
Summer activities in La Plagne range from parapenting, mountain biking, hiking, Via Ferrata (climbing wires) with white water rafting in the valley and road cycling through the stunning scenery with Mont Blanc as a backdrop. The Tour de France finished in La Plagne summer 2025 and the resort will be hosting the Bobsleigh competition for the Winter Olympics in 2030.
Access to the resort
The town of Aime La Plagne has a station where the tgv trains stop during the winter so travelling by train is a great option.
The airports of Lyon and Geneva are 2-3 hours away (depending on the time of year) and during the winter season Chambery and Grenoble airport also have flights for skiers.
