This centre is net zero carbon both in construction and operation, with a truly unique timber frame used to capture and store carbon via sequestration, locking it away in the same way a tree does. All energy required by the development will either be generated on site or provided by a wind farm, making this centre completely electric. The building's roof and car park roof will be covered with solar panels, acting as a series of mini power plants.
Not only will This centre act as a blueprint for low carbon workspaces, it will also feature smart technology, innovative architectural and interior design, greenery throughout and wellness facilities, all aimed at creating a building for the future.
