The space
Set within four acres of glorious parkland and forming part of a Grade ii-listed Georgian estate, The Stables is a beautifully restored countryside retreat surrounded by a large landscaped garden and herbaceous borders with pastoral views beyond. Blending historic character with modern comfort, it offers a tranquil countryside escape in the heart of Somerset.

Located a mile from the pretty village of West Coker, just off the A30 and a 10-minute drive from the A303, The Stables is ideally placed for both relaxation and exploration. The village offers a grocery store, a fantastic butcher providing excellent locally sourced meat and cheeses, a pub serving delicious food, a cider farm and plenty of scenic walking routes in Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, right on your doorstep. The Jurassic Coast is just 30-40 minutes drive, including the highlights of Lyme Regis and West Bay Beach.

Step inside to a spacious open-plan lounge and dining area, where the original fireplace and log-burning stove create the perfect setting for cosy nights in. A collection of board games, CDs, and a stereo system is provided—ideal for evenings spent with friends and family.

The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric hob and oven, fridge-freezer, air fryer, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, and washing machine. There is also a convenient ground-floor WC.

Upstairs, the house comfortably accommodates six guests across three bedrooms - one has a king-sized bed and the other two have standard double beds. All with clean linen and towels and comfy duvets.

Bedroom three has an ensuite consisting of a bath, sink and WC. There is also a communal bathroom upstairs that consists of a shower, sink and WC.

Outside through French doors, you will find a patio that over-looks a large sunny and well attended garden with uninterrupted farmland views beyond. Garden table and chairs, a BBQ and a fire pit are provided. Perfect for enjoying an evening glass of wine looking at the setting sun- or morning coffee.
