I love how close we are to Brockwell Park, just a short stroll away for weekend walks and fresh air. Sunday mornings aren't the same without a visit to Herne Hill Market, which always has such a great atmosphere. There's lots of cafes and Pubs close by. One of South London's best bakeries Maya's Bakehouse is one of our favourites, and Elm Park Tavern pub is a must! There are plenty of convenient amenities nearby, including a post office and a Tesco Express, making daily errands easy. The neighbourhood has a wonderful residential feel and a real sense of community. Our garden is spacious and gets a good amount of sun, and with the newly installed patio it feels even bigger-a fantastic space for socialising and relaxing in the summer. I love the open plan kitchen and living room area. With the b-ifolding doors out to the garden in the summer, it makes the space feel incredibly airy and welcoming. Transport links are excellent. We can walk or catch a bus to Brixton and hop on the Victoria line, and we also have easy access to Herne Hill, Tulse Hill and Streatham Hill for broader connections. We find having the utility area downstairs a really good perk as it provides an extra space to do and hang washing up away from it all.
