This house is on the market for sale. That means a few things you need to be comfortable with as a lodger before we go any further:

The house needs to be kept very tidy at all times, as prospective buyers will be coming for viewings - most viewings happen over the weekend. You'll need to liaise directly with the estate agent to arrange viewing times that work. There's a key lock box on the property, so if nobody is going to be home, agents can let themselves in by prior arrangement. In some cases, you may be asked to show buyers around the property yourself.

Once the house sells, you'll still be able to stay while the sale goes through, but you'll need to be comfortable with a two-week notice period as the exchange date approaches. Realistically, you'd have use of the house for a minimum of three months, but more likely four to six. If any of that doesn't work for you, this isn't the right fit.

I'll be keeping the box room for when I am in London - I am out of the country for a couple of weeks each month, so you'll have plenty of space and privacy most of the time.

The house has wooden floors throughout, classic cast iron radiators, a brand-new bathroom with separate toilet, and a good-sized garden with a greenhouse.

The master bedroom is very large with a beautiful bay window flooding it with natural light and two floor-to-ceiling built-in wardrobes. The second bedroom is a good-sized double with its own floor-to-ceiling built-in wardrobe.

As stated above, i'll be keeping the box room for when I am in London.

You'll also have use of a large main living room with a stunning bay window, a second living room that opens directly onto the garden, and a well-equipped kitchen.

Ideally i'm looking for two friends who'd each take a room - it makes for a much more personable atmosphere than strangers sharing. A couple plus a friend could also work, so drop me a message if you'd like to discuss how that might play out.
