We're looking for a new lodger to share our home with us - but this definitely isn't your typical room-to-rent or traditional house-share setup.

We're an easy-going, sociable couple who work hard, enjoy life and take a huge amount of pride in where we live. The house has been finished and maintained to an exceptionally high standard throughout, and we're looking for someone who will genuinely appreciate and respect it in the same way we do.

The room

The room available is a beautifully presented, spacious double bedroom with its own private en-suite shower room, furnished to an excellent standard and offering plenty of space to make it your own.

For the right person, we can also provide a TV with Sky, giving you your own comfortable private space whenever you want it.

The house

You'll have full use of the shared areas of our home, including our fantastic open-plan kitchen/living space, separate living room, utility room and outside space.

This is very much our home rather than a conventional house share. We want whoever moves in to feel completely comfortable here and part of the household, while still having the independence and privacy of their own en-suite room.

The location - spencer road, southsea

The location is honestly unreal. We're on Spencer Road in the heart of Southsea, with the seafront and open green space just moments from the front door.

You can be down on Southsea seafront within minutes, whether it's for a morning walk, run, coffee or just getting some fresh air. You've also got everything that makes Southsea such a great place to live right on your doorstep, with Palmerston Road, independent coffee shops, restaurants, bars, gyms and local amenities all within easy walking distance.

Despite being so central, Spencer Road has a lovely residential feel, so you really do get the best of both worlds - an amazing home in one of Southsea's best locations, with the seafront practically at the end of the road.

For anyone who enjoys being outdoors, training, walking or simply having everything close by, the location is difficult to beat.

We share our home with three unbelievable dogs, and they are a massive part of our lives and the household.

You absolutely must be a genuine dog lover, and ideally someone who has previous experience living with dogs. If dogs aren't really your thing, this simply won't be the right home for you.

We're relaxed and easy-going but have high standards when it comes to cleanliness and looking after the house.

Our lifestyle revolves around working hard, health and wellness, training, eating good food and generally looking after ourselves. Equally, we enjoy, having a drink and partying from time to time.

Who we're looking for

We're not simply looking for somebody who needs a room. Finding the right person and personality is far more important to us.

Someone who is independent, positive, respectful, clean, sociable and easy-going would fit in brilliantly.

We want someone who can enjoy a chat or a drink with us when we're all around, but equally has their own life and appreciates everyone having their own space.
